  • Commercial Projects Alerts

Your saved searches in Commercial Projects now do more. Alongside alerts when a project you follow changes, you’ll be notified the moment a new commercial project matches your saved search criteria, delivered inside your existing daily alert email.

    What’s new

Previously, saved searches in Commercial Projects only alerted you to changes on projects you were already following, new projects matching your criteria went unnoticed unless you checked manually. With this release, new matching projects are included in your daily alert automatically, moving you from reactive checking to proactive notification.

    Where to find it

There’s nothing new to switch on. Your existing saved searches and daily alert email now automatically include new matching commercial projects, alongside your existing alerts for followed projects.

    How it works

    • Saved search matching: your existing saved search criteria are now checked against newly published commercial projects, not just changes to ones you follow.
    • Daily alert inclusion: matching new projects are added automatically to your existing daily alert email.
    • No manual steps: this applies automatically to your account, nothing to configure.

    Availability

Commercial Projects Alerts Available to customers with the Commercial Projects add-on only, not part of a standard plan tier

    Why we built it

    Reactive to proactive

You no longer need to check manually for new opportunities matching your interests.

    Delivered where you already look

New matches arrive in the daily alert you already use, not a separate notification to manage.

    No extra setup

This works with your existing saved searches automatically.

  • A data quality update

Our continuous cleansing and de-duplication means you’re always working with the most reliable intelligence available.

Because in the public sector, the difference between winning and losing often comes down to one thing: certainty. The BI platform gives you that certainty, so you can pursue growth with precision, confidence, and strategic advantage.

Our latest update covers three specific improvements: adding awardee names where they were originally withheld, merging duplicate supplier records, and linking awards to spend data within Spend Analysis.

    What this means for you

    More complete awardee information

Award notices don’t always name the winning supplier. Where that information is published elsewhere, we now add it in to our platform. This applies to award notices across across the app.

    One record per supplier

The same supplier can appear under different name variations. These are now grouped under one name, so you see all of a supplier’s awards together rather than needing to search under multiple variations.

    Awards connected to spend

Within Spend Analysis, awards are now linked to related spend data, so you can see the connection between what was awarded and what was actually spent.

    What’s new

    • Withheld Awardee Names: where an award notice doesn’t name the winning supplier, we check whether that information is published elsewhere (the framework owner’s website or attachment documents) and add it in, across every award in the app.
    • Awardee Duplication: where the same supplier appears under different name variations, we group these under one name, so all of their awards can be linked correctly within Spend Analysis.
    • Award to Spend Linking: within Spend Analysis, awards are now linked to related spend data.

  • Framework Relevancy Sorting

Framework Relevancy is the next step in helping you find what matters, fast. Every framework result is now ranked by how closely it matches your search, with the exact keywords that matched highlighted for you, so instead of scanning through everything, you see what’s relevant first.

    What is Framework Relevancy?

Framework Relevancy is an upgrade to framework search built directly into the platform. Instead of sorting every result by contract size by default, results are automatically ranked by how closely they match your search and filters, with the keywords that matched highlighted directly in the results list.

    Where to find it

There’s nothing new to open and nothing to switch on. Search frameworks the way you always have, and the new ranking and keyword highlights are already applied to your results.

    Inside the update

    • Keyword highlights: every result shows the exact keywords that matched your search, highlighted directly in the list, so you can see why it’s there without opening it.
    • Relevancy sorting: results are automatically ranked by how closely they match your search and filters, so the most relevant frameworks appear first, not just the largest.

    How it works

    • Keyword highlighting: matching keywords are shown directly in each result, so you know at a glance why it’s relevant.
    • Automatic ranking: results are sorted by relevance to your filters the moment you search, with no extra clicks required.
    • No setup required: this works with your existing searches and saved filters. There’s nothing to turn on.
    • Same search, better results: use the Frameworks module exactly as you do today. The ranking and highlights are just already there.

    Why we built it

    • See relevance at a glance

Keyword highlights show exactly why a result matched your search, so you don’t have to open it to find out.

    • No more sorting by size

Frameworks used to default to largest first, regardless of fit. Now the most relevant results lead every time.

    • Less scrolling, more action

Spend less time hunting for the right framework and more time acting on it.

    • No extra setup

Framework Relevancy works with your existing searches and filters automatically. There’s nothing to configure.

    What’s Next?

If you’re already a DynamIQ or AnalytIQ customer, your account has been automatically upgraded to include Frameworks Relevancy Sorting – no extra steps required. Click here to get started.

  • Introducing the All New Notification Centre

The Notification Centre is the next step in keeping you informed, ahead and in control of everything that matters across your saved profiles. Every relevant update is brought into a single, in-app hub — so the moment you log in you know exactly what’s changed since your last visit and can act on it in seconds.

    What is the Notification Centre?

The Notification Centre is a centralised, always-accessible alerting panel built directly into the platform. Modelled on the notification systems you already know from everyday apps, it surfaces relevant updates as soon as they happen — and gives you a one-click route into the area of the product where the new data lives.

    Where to find it

Look for the bell icon in the top menu bar, to the left of your name. A small badge counter tells you at a glance how many of your saved profiles have new updates — so you’re informed before you’ve clicked anything. Click the bell and a panel opens over your current page — you stay where you are, no navigating away.

    Inside the Notification Centre

Three tabs make it easy to find what you need:

    • Opportunities — the default tab. New tenders matching your saved Contract Searches
    • Spend — new spend activity for the supplier and buyer profiles you have saved in Spend Analysis.
    • Intel — new market intelligence, market leads and relevant news for your saved profiles.

Inside each tab, your saved profiles are shown as cards in the order you most recently created or edited them. Profiles with new data are highlighted; profiles with no new updates are marked “up to date” but still available as fast shortcuts straight to that area of the platform.

    How it works

    • Smart badge counter — the badge shows how many of your saved profiles have new updates, not the total number of new items, so you never see overwhelming numbers.
    • One-click navigation — click a card to be taken directly to the relevant area of the platform; that profile is then marked “up to date” and the highlight is removed.
    • Mark all as read — clear notifications across all three tabs at once with a single click.
    • Stay in flow — click anywhere outside the panel to close it and pick up where you left off.

  • Understanding the New Noticing Regime

The Procurement Act 2023 marks a significant evolution in public procurement across England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Among its most impactful changes is the introduction of a new Noticing Regime: a structured, transparent framework that replaces previous fragmented approaches to procurement.

For suppliers already familiar with the public procurement landscape, this regime introduces greater predictability, clearer timelines and more consistent market signals. But it also creates new expectations – and opportunities – for how suppliers engage with upcoming work, navigate tender processes and stay informed throughout the contract lifecycle.

We have mapped out the key notices that guide the procurement process from pipeline planning to contract closure.

    A cohesive framework for transparency

At the heart of the new regime are 17 distinct notice types, each assigned a UK identifier (UK1-UK17) with currently 14 of these forms live with the remaining 3 due to be launched by the Cabinet Office later this year. These notices are designed to provide structured, consistent communication across all procurement stages – from pipeline planning and market engagement to contract award and performance tracking.

This standardisation should be welcomed by suppliers. Rather than chasing inconsistent or delayed updates across different portals or frameworks, suppliers will now have a clearer view of when and where to expect key information – and how to act on it.

For clarity, we have grouped these notices into three distinct stages within our Business Intelligence platform:

    • Early stage:
      • Pipeline notice: UK1
      • Pre-tender: UK2, UK3 & UK13
    • Tender stage:
      • Live notices: UK4
      • Deadline passed: UK4
      • Deadline unknown: UK4
      • Procurement cancelled: UK12 (for notices only)
    • Contract awarded:
      • Awards not started: UK5, UK6 & UK12 (for awards only)
      • Awards in progress: UK7 & UK10
      • Awards ended: UK11

From pipeline to procurement: building early awareness

The regime begins with three pre-tender notices that aim to give the market a forward view:

    • UK1 – Pipeline Notice is now mandatory for contracting authorities spending over £100 million annually. Published between 1 April and 26 May, it outlines contracts (and dynamic markets) expected over the next 18 months with an estimated value above £2 million. For suppliers, this is the first and most critical point of visibility into future opportunities.
    • UK2 – Preliminary Market Engagement Notice formalises early conversations between buyers and suppliers. It outlines how authorities intend to (or have already) engaged the market ahead of a formal tender. While previously optional, UK2 is now essential: where authorities conduct early engagement on above-threshold procurements, they must publish this notice – or explain why they have not.
    • UK3 – Planned Procurement Notice is optional but strategic. If published 40 days to one year before a tender notice, it allows authorities to reduce tender periods to just 10 days. For suppliers, it signals that a live opportunity is imminent – and that fast mobilisation may be required.

The tendering core: Competing and awarding contracts

    • Once an authority moves into formal competition, several notices come into play:
    • The UK4 – Tender Notice launches the bidding process. For above-threshold procurements, the standard minimum tender window is 25 days, assuming electronic access and documentation are in place. Suppliers should treat the UK4 as the definitive go-live point of the procurement process.
    • Where a contract is being directly awarded, whether due to legal justification or a failed open procedure, a UK5 – Transparency Notice is published instead. This ensures even non-competitive processes are documented and accessible to the market.
    • Following selection, the UK6 – Contract Award Notice is published before a contract is signed. This is a key milestone for suppliers, as it triggers a standstill period (usually eight working days) during which unsuccessful bidders can raise challenges or request further detail.

Clarity after award: lifecycle and contract management notices

Post-award, the regime introduces greater transparency around contract performance and changes:

    • The UK7 – Contract Details Notice must be published within 30 days of contract signing (or 120 days for light-touch regimes). For contracts over £5 million, a redacted version of the contract must also be published within 90 days.
    • If any material change is made – such as to value, term, or scope – a UK10 – Contract Change Notice must be issued ahead of the modification. Again, if the revised contract exceeds £5 million, a redacted copy must be published.

When a contract ends, either at completion or termination, the UK11 – Contract Termination Notice must be published within 30 days. If the procurement ends without a contract being signed, a UK12 – Procurement Termination Notice is issued instead.

For suppliers, these notices are useful both for confirming closure and for monitoring competitors and repeat opportunities as they cycle through the public market.

Supporting innovation: notices for Dynamic Markets

A separate set of notices applies to Dynamic Markets – flexible systems allowing for rolling supplier participation. These include:

    • UK13 – Intention Notice (market is planned)
    • UK14 – Establishment Notice (market opens and lists initial suppliers)
    • UK15 – Modification Notice (suppliers are added or removed)
    • UK16 – Cessation Notice (market is formally closed)

While these may not apply to all suppliers, they offer agile routes to market, especially for IT, digital services or recurring low-value spend.

    A strategic opportunity for suppliers

For established suppliers, the Noticing Regime is more than a bureaucratic exercise. It offers:

    • Earlier visibility of high-value pipeline work
    • Predictable tendering patterns aligned to notice sequencing
    • New insight into contract modifications, performance and re-procurement cycles
    • Greater ability to challenge or seek clarification through transparent award and standstill mechanisms

Understanding the new regime will help suppliers better plan business development efforts, resource bids more efficiently and engage with public buyers on stronger terms.
